Structural Analysis
COMOSYS is a general-purpose structural analysis, design, and detailing software that integrates modeling, analysis and design, detailing, and drafting phases in a single environment. All kinds of structures with arbitrary complexity can be modeled using advanced modeling capabilities of COMOSYS. A powerful finite element engine working behind the scenes ensures exact results while structural steel members can be designed according to American, European, and Turkish codes.

COMOSYS provides the user with the ability to design steel structures in accordance with many international design codes. These include the Turkish code, both the American Allowable stress design code AISC-ASD, the Load Resistance Factor Design code AISC-LRFD, the EuroCode EC3 etc.



Steel Modeling and Detailing

COMOSYS Steel Detailer is a general-purpose modeling software for steel structures. COMOSYS Steel Detailer allows you to model structures ranging from roof trusses to most complex industrial structures, from silos to power plants, pipe racks to multi-storey buildings down to the tiniest details in 3D. Shop and part drawings, material take off tables are generated automatically by the COMOSYS.

With COMOSYS you are not limited to structures which fit a certain template. Concrete Modeling and Detailing

Formwork and Rebar modeling is a unique challenge in itself. While steel modeling is complicated in its own right, the modeling of industrial plants in concrete with their non-building like geometries along with the placement of 3D rebar in these complex shapes requires a novel approach. Drawing Module

COMOSYS comes with a very powerful standalone drawing module. While COMOSYS automatically produces many types of drawings, it also provides tools that significantly reduce the amount of time necessary for the drawings that have to be produced manually. As a bonus of 3D modeling, material take-off tables are immediately ready and the user can create sections at any point or views from any point of view. In addition to this, for editing and revising drawings, no other general purpose CAD program is required because COMOSYS provides all the tools necessary for editing 2D drawings.

COMOSYS offers a completely standalone drawing module which doesn’t require the user to install any AutoCAD or Microstation for it to work. Thus, a major portion of the CAD related investment is saved making the cost benefit ratio of investing in COMOSYS even more attractive.



Tank Modeling
COMOSYS Tank Design module is built on general purpose structure of COMOSYS but provides specialized commands for modeling of tanks. COMOSYS Tank Design module can increase the productivity of the user by a significant amount. You will find that the after setting up the system you will be able to detail tanks which normally took up to a week to detail in a matter of hours. Clash Checking is fully integrated with the basic work environment of COMOSYS. Find out about possible clashes before the person at site gives you a call to tell you about it. This will not only save valuable design man-hours but also reduce the problems for the construction team. COMOSYS will not only provide you with clash reports within a discipline but also give inter-disciplinary clash reports. These reports also allow the user to zoom in to the objects which are clashing and manage the clashes. Many a times you get a model from somewhere which you need to incorporate into your own to see any possible clashes. But to your horror you find that the model which has been sent to you has its own internal clashes as well which clutter up your clash reports. COMOSYS allows you to overlook these clashes and focus entirely on where the other discipline is clashing with yours.



Companies will be able to save a considerable amount of time & money using this unique feature of COMOSYS. Typically during the analysis stage the engineer is not concerned about the exact placement of members according to detailing requirements. In particular trusses aren’t modeled according to the centre of gravity of the profiles, horizontal bracings aren’t located at their correct elevations and with the right orientations and the girts and purlins aren’t modeled in their actual positions. Splice Positions are not really a consideration and similarly other such factors which don’t affect the analysis are left for the detailer to worry about. However, this also means that the model prepared by the Engineer is not directly usable and needs a lot of remodeling. The unique AUTO ADJUST technology present in COMOSYS provides practical and useful solutions to many of these problems and with a press of a single button the ugly analysis model is converted into a model ready for detailing!

This unique feature of COMOSYS will help hat many simple connections and some advanced ones like floor beams with horizontal bracing spanning into them are handled easily leaving the modeler with only the complicated areas to deal with.  IntelliConnect will connect your girts and purlins, most of your trusses, floor beams with and without horizontal bracing and even put the batten plates in all your twin profiles automatically with a single click. Simple vertical bracing connections too will be handled. The intelligence of this feature has been made customizable to a large extent. Try it and save time. Intelliclone is another revolutionary advanced command which is one step beyond Intelliconnect. Intelliconnect and Intellliclone are like sister commands, and they work together hand in hand. Intelliconnect is working in the cases where the pre-programmed template-based Intelligence inside COMOSYS. Wherever the connections made by Intelliconnect needs to be shifted to some other parent frames or some other locations in the model with similar situations, there we can use the more revolutionary Intelliclone command. It offers a very similar solution like Intelliconnect, but this time the user is the one who directs the modeling. If the user models only one joint, Intelliclone allows the user to truly propagate and clone that joint without any clashes to wherever location needed in the model
