3D steel detailing software built for automation
You model the structure once in 3D. IntelliConnect places library connections; IntelliClone repeats detailed zones across similar framing. COMCLASH watches for clashes and AutoAdjust re-fits members when geometry moves. Shop drawings, schedules and NC files come off that same model.
Auto-generate fabrication drawings from a 3D model
COMOSYS generates shop, assembly and GA drawings straight from the 3D model. Plans, elevations, sections and detail sheets carry title blocks, dimensions and BOM tables. When the design changes, drawings of macro-placed elements regenerate automatically. Nothing gets drafted twice.
CNC/NC file generation for steel fabrication
NC files generate from the same 3D model as the drawings. Every member, plate and bolt is already resolved in that model. COMCLASH clears interferences before anything reaches the machine. The detail that was checked is the detail the line fabricates.
Generate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) from a model
The rebar module reads the 3D rebar model and writes the BBS. Bar marks, shapes, lengths, weights and totals format to Indian practice. Update macro-placed reinforcement and the schedule regenerates on its own. Manually placed bars refresh one by one.
IS 800 steel detailing and shop drawings
COMOSYS designs and details hot-rolled steel to IS 800:2007. AISC and EN 1993 run in the same environment when needed. Shop drawings, connection details, erection drawings and BOMs all generate from the model. Output comes formatted for Indian fabrication practice, ready for the shop.
Design a 30m clear-span PEB to IS 800:2007
mkaPEB designs tapered portal frames to IS 800. Wind loads come from IS 875 Part 3 and seismic from IS 1893. Sections deepen at high-moment zones and shallow out where forces drop. That tapered sizing typically cuts steel weight 10-30% against prismatic frames.
Automated load calculations for pre-engineered buildings
Pick the code and mkaPEB generates the loads. Wind, snow, temperature and crane loads run to European, USA, Indian and Turkish codes. Seismic coverage spans 17 regional earthquake codes. Manual load input drops out for standard building shapes.
Steel portal frame and purlin design for PEB
mkaPEB analyses the portal frame and sizes its members in one run. Purlins and girts design as cold-formed sections to EN 1993-1-3. Continuous purlins carry lapped overlap strength at supports. Base plates, ridge and eave connections design inside the same model.
