Steel, framing and rebar — detailed from one model

You model the structure once in 3D. IntelliConnect places library connections; IntelliClone repeats detailed zones across similar framing. COMCLASH watches for clashes and AutoAdjust re-fits members when geometry moves. Shop drawings, schedules and NC files come off that same model.

COMOSYS generates shop, assembly and GA drawings straight from the 3D model. Plans, elevations, sections and detail sheets carry title blocks, dimensions and BOM tables. When the design changes, drawings of macro-placed elements regenerate automatically. Nothing gets drafted twice.

NC files generate from the same 3D model as the drawings. Every member, plate and bolt is already resolved in that model. COMCLASH clears interferences before anything reaches the machine. The detail that was checked is the detail the line fabricates.

The rebar module reads the 3D rebar model and writes the BBS. Bar marks, shapes, lengths, weights and totals format to Indian practice. Update macro-placed reinforcement and the schedule regenerates on its own. Manually placed bars refresh one by one.

COMOSYS designs and details hot-rolled steel to IS 800:2007. AISC and EN 1993 run in the same environment when needed. Shop drawings, connection details, erection drawings and BOMs all generate from the model. Output comes formatted for Indian fabrication practice, ready for the shop.

COMOSYS details precast concrete in the same environment as its steel workflow. The rebar module handles slab, beam, column and wall reinforcement. Drawings generate straight from the 3D model, with automatic bar scheduling. One model carries the piece from design through to the drawing set.

Vertex BD frames the building from the architectural model. Studs, tracks, joists and bridging place automatically to your framing rules. Structural layouts come out AISI or AS/NZS compliant. Panel drawings, cut lists and manufacturing data all come from that one model.

One BIM model carries the whole job. Objects know their materials, framing details and connections. From that model, Vertex BD generates layouts, production drawings, material reports and CNC data. Plans come out up to 2x faster than CAD workflows, with every drawing consistent.
