Overview

What is cgWindWaves?

cgWindWaves is a wind-generated wave analysis program from RUNET that forecasts design wave conditions in restricted-fetch waters — harbours, marinas, lakes and reservoirs. From a water region, wind direction and velocity it computes significant wave height (Hs), significant wave period (Ts) and the wave spectrum S(f) using the semi-empirical SMB relations, outputting Pierson-Moskowitz and JONSWAP spectra. RAM CADDSYS supplies and supports it in India.
